  • 1.  During migration to ACE12 on aws

    Hi,

    We are in the process of migrating  our application to     App Connect Enterprise as a Service.Could you please help us with odbc configuration in App Connect Enterprise? Wr have imported the bar files but while triggering the flow getting ODBC error

    2322E: Database error: SQL State '01000'; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text '[unixODBC][Driver Manager] Can't open lib '/usr/opt/IBM/mqsi/12.0.5.0/server/ODBC/dsdriver/odbc_cli/clidriver/lib/libdb2o.so' : file not found'.

    2393E: Database error: ODBC return code '-1' from data source 'BLUDB' using ODBC driver manager '/opt/ibm/ace-12/ie02/lib/libodbcinterface.so'.
    Do we need  install odbc driver in ACE ? If yes then how can we add the driver? How we can access the console.

    Please help us in this issue.

    Hi,

    From the error above, the odbc driver path does not look right.  In Container, ACE install path is  /opt/ibm/ace-12/. 
    And the driver would be under /opt/ibm/ace-12/server/ODBC/dsdriver/odbc_cli/clidriver/lib
    So you should update your odbc.ini file with correct driver path under DSN as well as the [ODBC] stanza.

    The same configuration files are used as per ACE on Premise but there is a difference in how they are set up. 

    You would manage the configuration from the dashboard | configuration page.

    I have updated the odbc.ini file but now I am getting below error:

    2322E: Database error: SQL State '08001'; Native Error Code '-30081'; Error Text '[unixODBC][IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location where the error was detected: "158.176.91.123". Communication function detecting the error: "recv". Protocol specific error code(s): "104", "*", "0". SQLSTATE=08001 '

    Can you please help us in resolving this issue so that database connectivity can be done.

    Hi, 

    We noticed that in  migrating  from  12.07 -> 12.12  that the permissions  on  the  underling binaries had changed from 555  to 664     (r-x r-x r-x   -> rw- r-- r-- )   resulting the the same  file  not  found   even though  the   ODBC.ini  file  was  pointed to the correct file/path.
