am facing difficulty in mapping my internal application document to a standard EDI map(from a standard EDI type tree). The actual problem is that, all the individual data objects are grayed out and hence i am not able to map the desired data alone.
I ascertained from the DSTX-map designer document that this graying property is for all the components with a range value greater than 1.Can anyone please help me of how to deal with this grayed out data objects... would a functional mapping help in this case?

Please find attached the type tree for the output card.
I selected : 'Partner X12 Outbound Interchange' as the type for the output card.

First you customize your type tree according to your requirements.
Its not a good way to index Transaction #850 group,as we dont know how many orders we get
    (the map should be generic).
Use functional map over there.Refer Map Designer Reference Guide, which gives a clear idea
    about functional maps.
