I've been experencing probleming using the DSTX 7.5 MD. As a standard after making a few changes, I press Ctrl-S or save icon. Since moving to 7.5 I've noticed that the MD will on occasion terminate and my changes are lost. In a few cases, the MD file becomes corrupted and I have to go to backups.

Have tried to "save as" option to see if that works, but same results. I have about 436 maps in one map source file (mms), and 68 in anther.

Did not have this problem in 6.5, only in 7.5. Anyone else having this problem?

In 6.5.2 it occurred when I changed the tree, while the map was open. Then clicked 'OK' on accepting tree changes and proceeded to make rule changes.

Seems like it was fine if I made a few changes saved and exited. But, I really experience the problem when I made extensive map changes without saving my work.

Saving map changes regularly seems to help.

We have also experienced every single one of these issues you are all describing in version 7.5. We too have had maps become corrupted to where we could not open them. Fortunately we had backups. Has anybody on this thread contacted Ascential Support regarding these issues? It seems as though enough of us are having these problems that it merits their attention.

Those that haven't, I've been able to pin down to resulting from resource registry issues. When I've gone thru the resource registry in detail resolving any problems and then made sure the Run Options and Referenced Maps settings in Options are pointing to the correct resource registry file, then I have been able to get past those remaining issues.
