@Andy Williamson Based on the screenshot it looks like you are using an Active Report control. It does not look possible to update the font size of an Active Report Control. As Jeff said, using a regular standard control (Non-Active Report Control) you should be able to change the font size.
Not recommended, but using developer tools you can see the CSS that is applied to the control and copy and paste that css code into an HTML item and manipulate the font size of the prompt control. If you would like, I can send you sample report spec showing this.

I'm just learning Cognos 11.0.13
Does anyone know if it's possible to alter the Font properties of a Drop-down list. The text on the rest of the report is bigger and I'd like to adjust how the Drop-down is displayed to fill the cell (see attached)
