  • 1.  Drag, drop and rank question

    Posted Tue November 05, 2024 11:21 AM

    Hi,

For an online survey, I used a drag, drop and rank question like this:

I extracted the data from Qualtrics to SPSS. Here, every characteristic (e.g. turnaround time) is a variable. The files for every variable looks like this (this example is for turnaround time. First picture shows data on whether turnaround time was in top 3, second on how it was ranked.

How can I analyze this data? So for example look what characteristic was scored highest, what second etc.?

    Hi @Jorine Arnouts

Looking at your example, is it correct to say that the first person in the dataset ranked the item "short turnaround time" a "3"?
If so, do you have some variable (or set of variables) that uniquely identify each respondent such that you could group the respondents and their responses (items and ranks) together?
I would begin with a data restructuring to bring all of the associated data together on a single record.

Others might counsel a different approach.  It really depends upon what you have for a goal.
