  • 1.  Dojo Widgets not corrsponding to tablet device

    Posted Thu June 16, 2016 01:33 AM

    Hello everyone,

Widgets such as DojoMenu and and DojoCombobox don't correspond to click events on tablet device.

Is there any solution to this?

    Hi,

I have noticed the same problem but only with Dojo Mobile Widgets. In fact I was about to ask IBM to investigate on this problem since we have created an application that runs perfectly on the mobile browser simulator that comes with the RBD 8.5 but does not respond to click events when it is accessed from a real mobile device (tablet or mobile phone). Check please:

    Hi,

after opening a PMR with IBM about this issue it was concluded that if the project is built with the RBD 9.5 EGL RUI Libraries (dojo mobile widgets library 1.3.0 or later)  then the problem is resolved but partially.

Under Chrome browser on iOS or Android the application works as expected - that is responding correctly and timely to click events on dojo mobile widgets. However, the problem still exists at Safari Browser(iOS 9.3.4).

I can now confirm that under iOS version 9.3.5 (and onwards) Safari fully supports dojo mobile libraries and the application works as expected.
