This is a question from our Feb. 17 Securing Your Messaging and Managed File Transfers webcast:

If you replace wmq code with interceptors how does this impact wmq fixpack strategy? Do you need to wait for the wmq ams fixpack or can you apply plain wmq fixpacks after installing wmq ams?

When installing the AMS interceptors, the only situation where you have to alter your existing MQ fix pac procedures is with the MQ client installations.  Whenever you apply maintenance to the MQ client you should ensure that the MQ AMS interceptor is re-applied after the fix has been applied.  MQ maintenance applied to the server or java components will not affect MQ AMS.
