If I type te df command at root on AIX, the command hung and no showed that NFS anymore. Is the sshd needed for a health of NFS? or there is something not working? Another AIX 5.3 with sshd running has no problem showing the NFS on the Solaris.

There is no relation beteween SSH and NFS.
    :-) have fun.
