  • 1.  Does MFT has any functionality to rename file

    Hello Team,

    We have a request from user, wherein MFT job should pick the file "A*b.txt" from source location but should rename the file to "X*y.txt" before putting that file to destination location by MFT Job via some MFT code (Example-via Ant script or via any other MFT functionality).So, do we have such file renaming functionality in MFT. We are using MQ-MFT v8.0.0.7.

    Hi Avinash,


    Thank you for the details. in the link provided we could see that file name modification can be done for single transfer. But our current requirement is to modify the file for a scheduled transfer with multiple files and the transferred files should be renamed with a pattern. Could you please suggest us on this?
