Does FileNet Content Platform Engine support cloud based databases?

    If the database is supported by the version of CPE, can that database be a cloud-based offering such as AWS RDS?

    Yes. As long as full access to all features of the database is is available. And the database vendor and version are supported by the version of CPE in use, cloud-based offerings are supported. This is stated Software Product Compatibility Report (SPCR) for the product FileNet Content Manger on the prerequisites tab, database section:

    "Unless otherwise noted, the listed databases are supported on any operating system or hardware environment that is supported by the database vendor. This includes appliance-based offerings and cloud-based offerings, as long as the device- or cloud-based database offering provides full access to all of the features of a database."
