    I don't think so.  Can you not just allow compression on the other components of the flow?   That is, on outbound (if the server supports it) or response?

    You could try using the ZLIB library if you really need to compress using GWS.

    I did write a blog post many years ago on FSH gzip handling, which was deleted together with all developerworks blogs and forums 12/2019.
