  • 1.  Does ADK really require jdk 1.3.1?

    Adapter Development Kit documentation says to specify jdk 1.3.1. I don’t think you can download 1.3.1 anymore. Has anyone used a newer jdk version?

    Can you post the link? What product’s user guide? Also, have a look at the Installation docs that cover system requirements for the product you are interested in.

    Now that I’m no longer mobile, I had a chance to dig a bit and found this note in the Adapter Developer’s Kit Installation Guide 6.5 PDF (login to Advantage before following that link).

    Page 133 of the webMethods Installation Guide 7.1.x indicates that Integration Server 7.1.1 supports JDK 1.5.0_12 in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes depending on the platform (1.5.0_08 for HP/UX).
