Document attribute on an outbound TN document

  • 1.  Document attribute on an outbound TN document

Can you set a document attribute on an outbound document through TN? I’m using the wm.EDIINT:send to post to TN and tried to use the wm.tn.doc:setAttribute but I don’t have a bizdoc at that point.

i am also facing the same problem here, but i have a EDI string with values plus one custom information, which needs to be stored in TN along with the EDI information.

I am using the tn.receive method to submit the EDI string to TN. i like to know, what needs to be done for storing the custom information also along with the EDI information in TN.

    Kindly advice

    Badrinath,

You cannot create any custom attribute(field)in TN for the EDI documentType and store info, since it is not editable type.
