    If the failure was due to a space issue, increase the size of /opt and re-run the script again.
    Another reason for failure could be mixing of Toolbox packages and packages from other sources.
     
    You can try installing the downloaded dnf packages from /tmp/dnf-20250924170954 manually

    Since you had very old incompatible version of gcc installed, dnf didn't go ahead create a required soft link.

    As an working you can try creating these softlinks manually,

    ln -sf /opt/freeware/libdnfdeps/libgcc_s.a /opt/freeware/lib/libgcc_s.a

    ln -sf /opt/freeware/libdnfdeps/libstdc++.a /opt/freeware/lib/libstdc++.a

    And then run "dnf update" which should be able to update all packages to the latest version including gcc.
