I had to do the same today.
There is definitely something occurring with these updates, and it seems to be related to openssl updates, but I cannot prove it yet :-)

Subject: dnf Illegal instruction
Hello team,
after a few days of successfully running dnf in AIX 7.3, now I get an error after I successfully uninstalled the patrol rpm:
/:#dnf update -d9timer: config: 2 msDNF version: 4.2.17Command: dnf update -d9Installroot: /Releasever: 7.3.1.1cachedir: /var/cache/dnfBase command: updateExtra commands: ['update', '-d9']os-release file not foundos-release: falling back to basic User-Agent: missing NAME or VERSION_IDIllegal instruction
How can I solve this? And why did it happen...?
Thanks for your support in advance.
Best regards,
Joerg
