I have several tapes that are not more in use and I would like to dispose but I have not find any sheet with information about if this product can be wasted as regular trash or has to be handled with special requirements to dispose it.

this is related to the data. If there is sensitive data on them, many companies will destroy the tapes mechanically. There are companies out there, who will do this for you.
