  • 1.  Display custom error message when application is down

    Currently we are working on Tririga Documentum Integration. We deployed Documentum WebTop application in WebSphere. As part of a test case we stopped the WebTop application from WebSphere console (WebSphere is running. Only the WebTop application is stopped). I tried to open the Documentum WebTop URL and it displays a blank page in Chrome and 404 error in IE. This is not user friendly. I would like to display a custom error message. Could anyone please let me know what configuration is required to display custom error message?

    I have gone through the below URL and configured ErrorDocument in httpd.conf file for 404. But it didn’t solve the issue. I am getting the error "SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle". I couldn’t find the error code for this error to put that in IHS httpd.conf file.

    hi ashalatha, i think u got a virtual host not configuration error. i mean to say is to which application u are trying to access that particular application hosted application server https port number and alias names  are not configured in dmgr console, under Environment check the virtualHost.

    if it is not resolved please let me know. thanks
