    For HACMP don't install 5.3 since it has a shorter lifecycle. Also there were issues with LVM responsiveness HACMP and AIX 5.3/6.1. So you need to make sure you get those OS fixes for whatever TL level of AIX you upgrade to. There were 2 fixes so be sure to get both.
