First, when you say "DLpar" what do you mean? Most of the time, DLPAR, is used to mean dynamically adding/removing resources to an existing LPAR. If defined that way, you can't really compare with WPAR.
A WPAR is a Workload Partition. It shares the AIX kernel with the global OS running on a LPAR.
Besides the various Redbooks, Wikipedia can also give you a basic understanding of these technologies.
