Difference between SAP Business Connector and SAP Adapter?

    hi,

    I am in a project where I have to integrate SAP R/3 4.6.C with a legacy system. I am making the proposal, but I don�t know if on the SAP side I need to have Business Connector only or Business Connector and the SAP adapter.

    Would somebody explain me the difference, and which tool should I use?

    Not having used BC, I’m not 100% sure, but as far as I know, BC consists of wM IS & SAP adapter.
