    Hi there,

Could anybody explain what is the difference between basic adapter (ex. SAP adapter)
and enterprise adapter (ex. Enterprise SAP adapter)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Gediminas,

If you see “Enterprise” before an adapter name it refers to adapters for the (pre-version 6) Enterprise Server.
If you don’t see “Enterprise” it indicates an adapter (package) for Integration Server.

Starting with webMethods version 6 there will be no more new “Enterprise” adapters. All new adapters will run under the Integration Server adapter runtime.

    Regards,

    Wayne
