Dynamic Channel‑Path Management (DCM)
What is being removed or changed

With the removal of DCM, z/OS processing will no longer detect, manage, or display the current status of dynamic channel paths.
Required customer migration or upgrade actions
Customers should:
- Identify environments that use DCM
- Remove managed channel definitions
- Optionally replace managed dynamic channel paths with static CHPIDs based on capacity and availability requirements
IBM will provide a migration health check to assist customers in determining whether DCM is in use and to help assess migration impact.
