Hi Enrique,
The "Android Blocked Permissions" section for a device lists all the permissions that the MaaS360 suite of apps need for various functions but they haven't been granted yet by the user.
For example,
- MaaS360 Docs app needs Storage permission to import files into the "Local Docs" section.
- The Core app needs Phone permission to collect the IMEI (if PII settings allow it), the Camera permission to scan for QR code for enrollment etc.
Most of these are important in the Device Admin modes of enrollment where the user has to explicitly grant permissions unlike Android Enterprise.
This doesn't imply that these permissions can't be managed by the policy settings. It is just used to list the permissions that haven't been granted to the MaaS360 suite of apps and thereby help in diagnosing problems. For example, the geofencing functionality won't work if the Location permission(s) aren't granted.
Hope this helps!
