I have developer 4.6.1 and enterprise server 5.0

My enterprise server is running as a service on win2k box and the developer is installed on the same box.

I am not able to open session: I entered the following in the dialogue box.

Server type: Integration server
Server: localhost:6849
Username: Developer
Password: isdev

Following is the error message I get.

Could not open session to host ‘localhost:6849’.

java.lang.Exception: Transport Error: Unable to connect, incompatible remote endpoint

Is there a mismatch between the developer and server version? I had downloaded the whole enterprise platform at one go, hence I don’t think this is right.

By default your integration server runs on port 5555. Try port 5555 for IS and you should be good to go.
