anyone know why developer 7.0 and above hangs so often? Particularly stepping. also during stepping you can continue to step but the hourglass remains preventing you from doing anything else like review the pipeline.
I didn’t have any problems using developer 7.1 and debugging (stepping). Perhaps a bad install ?

Yes, it hangs. We have the same problem, specially when running in Windows XP. Not happening if running in Windows 2003.
Any fixes would be very much appreciated.
Could be another process running on your PC? I have to stop Symantec Protection Agent 5.1 on my PC when I run Developer.
