    Hi,

can anyone please enlighten me about the possibilities to deploy/publish IS packages and/or MWS portlets? I am particularly interested in possibilities suitable for batch jobs. In particular, I’d like to know the following:

    • Is it possible to deploy from a designer project in a batch job?
    • Is it possible either not to use the deployer or to use the
deployer without setting up a deployer project?

The use case I have in mind is a development scenario where multiple
developers are creating IS packages and/or MWS portlets. Assuming,
that any developer does a daily update from subversion, he should be
able to deploy all updated packages automatically to his local IS/MWS. Ideally, I could have an Ant script, which checks for updated packages / portlets and then deploys them.

    Thanks,

    Jochen

well… I haven’t tried to deploy the packages or portlets by deployer but
through publishing/subscribing in IS admin page.
Maybe publishing / subscribing can deploy IS package but not the MWS portlets.

    Is this what u mean?
    hope this help.
