  • 1.  Deploying Content Assistant without watsonx.assistant

    In a recent article regarding Content Assistant there is mention of deploying without watsonx.assistant (🔔 IBM Content Assistant Product Update.)       How does this work?  Does this mean there is a different ICN plugin?

    Hi John.  Content Assistant was previously implemented using the Watsonx Assistant widget, to provide consistency with other IBM AI products.  Watsonx Assistant was only used as a UI facade though.  The latest version of the ICN plugin for Content Assistant has been re-implemented using the IBM Carbon AI Chat UI framework, removing the dependency on Watsonx Assistant completely.  It is no longer necessary for Content Assistant customers to open connectivity to the Watsonx Assistant URL's in order to run the plugin.
