Can some one please help me, if there is a way that date field can be validated differently for each document type?

It would be easier to help if you provided more information.

Are you using the same date field across multiple Page Types / Docs and want to run different validations based on the page type / Doc?

Or are you talking about validating a date field based on the value of a document type field belonging to the same page?

Or are you using document level fields with Speed Index?
