We are trying to connect from Command Prompt(Windows or Unix) to DataPower using SFTP protocol.

We are not able to perform CHMOD command on DataPower using SFTP protocol.

Please find the error message below,

sftp> chmod 444 test.txt

Changing mode on /test.txt

Couldn't setstat on "/test.txt": Operation unsupported

Is there a work around for executing this command through DataPower using SFTP protocol?

Hi,

CHMOD is not on the list of allowed commands. You might be able to utilize TCP proxy for SSH connectivity.
