Our datapower is deployed on docker kubernetes.

Q1) If i want to call any MPGW from APIConnect how i can call using IP Address of Datapower, because datapower container IP is getting changed everytime after docker restart.

Q2) After Docker restart our domains are getting deleted, what might be the reason?

Did you save config before restart?

If so, do you get success or failure message?

A reason for failure might be missing file access write permission for the user under which DataPower is running. I have no experience with that.

For Q1:

1. Maybe you can consider localhost calls?
2. Host-alias is probably not going to work as it needs to know the current external IP, so needs retrofitting somehow. :-\

For Q2:

1. On preparing the DP image for Docker, have you mapped the "local:///" and "config:///" folder to a place that DP "drouter" user is allowed to write to?
2. Does save config throw an error message in the log that it is actually failing?
3. Is this plain standalone Docker or in a certain container orchestration?

--- This is IBM private cloud Docker -Kubernetes (Yaml Deployment)

Please help me because everytime if datapower is restarted, our MQ objects and Domains are getting deleted, i didnt find any logs about this on datapower

Ok, so container environment... more complexity and chances what might go a miss. Not sure if your ConfigMap/YAML pieces maybe have a challenge.
