I have three datalink connectors in the same 'salesforce' group. When I attempt to Run All in Group, it appears that the connectors are failing for some reason. I feel this might have something to do with the tokens, or timing of the connectors. I am curious if anybody has experience with this? Eventually I will have 9-12 connectors pulling data from 3-4 salesforce instances and I want to be able to run them all in one group. Is this possible?

I don’t have experience with this but could you put the exact error message your are getting?

Also check if the authentication token only allows a single instance - meaning that when your second connnector authenticates, it invalidates the first token. If that is the case, then you need to run the connectors one after the other. Check if the authentication token has any limitation like that.

If more than one are feeding the same Apptio table timing should be staggered because the first checkout of a table will lock it from further activity until it is checked back in.

This happened also to me.... took some time to find that out ;-)

I had a similar issue and Apptio´s solution was an upgrade of the datalink engine - as far as I know

Are your Connectors in the group all attached to the same table, or going to separate tables? Additionally, are the Connectors all making connections to the same Salesforce instance? 

If you run them one at a time, waiting for each to finish (without running all in the group), are they all successful?

The are attached to separate tables. All connecting to same salesforce instance. Yes, individually they all work fine. This occurs when trying to 'run all in group'. Thanks, Devon

This is a known bug in the DL engine. Please upgrade to at least version 4.8 (build number new-master-11122).
