The user name Duncan Shields having a space causing this? Normally that user id is part of your user OS profile.

I managed to post this thread twice in error, so this is already resolved...
It's working for me okay now, but as far as I can see, you can't have a space in the user name as it uses it to create the XML Element, and Element Names cannot contain Elements
It should probably use the US_IND value rather than the US_ID value from the TMUSER table to create the XML then it would remove issues with spaces in usernames, but I can live with hyphens, underscores, and periods rather than spaces.

Hello Duncan,
What you are doing is correct and it should update the savefilter.xml. What version of datacap and ifix are you using? Have you try different account or perhaps access to update the E:\Datacap\duncan_dco\savefilter? Just for grim grant full control for everyone?

I want to be able to save and re-use filters on the Monitor Page.
I've enabled the Save Filter Pane,

and I can create and save the filters I require.

I can see it has been saved:

When I log out and then log back on the Saved Filters is empty

However, I can the filters have been saved to the Taskmaster Server :

The savedfilters.xml is a single xml tag with no content:

Which doesn't seem correct.
Does anyone know how to get this working how I'm expecting it to?
Thanks
