    Hello,

    We are trying to setup Datacap (TMWeb) and wondering if someone has tried SSL offloading configuration with the product? Our first impression is that it works but we are just getting started and do not know if there are any pitfalls of the approach.

    If yes, have you had any issues or gotchas? Thoughts?

    What version of Datacap are you running?

    Can you tell me a little more about the SSL offloading and in what context you are trying to set it up?

    Hi Tod,

    We are using 9.1.7 and SSL offloading is from F5 load balancer perspective.
    Essentially we have a F5 device in front of tmweb and wTM servers and we want to leverage this F5 feature/capability.

    Ok, you want to run HTTP only on TMWeb, and have it connect through the F5 which will create the HTTPS connections between it and the clients?

    There is no reason this should not work, but we have not tested it.

    Yes, that is exactly how we want it to run - F5 handling SSL traffic from end clients and then establishing HTTP traffic to TMWeb.

    That said, we have done our configurations in our development environment and have not seen any issues till now.
