Databases won't start after restarting computer

  • 1.  Databases won't start after restarting computer

    Posted Mon June 09, 2003 06:30 PM

    Hello,

I have Tamino 4.1.1.1 running on two XP machines. I have 4 databases running on one, and 1 x-node database running on the other. All databases are defined in the ino:etc collection, and all are set to autorestart. Whenever the computers are reset, one database on each of the computers does not restart, and I see the following error when I try to restart them manually:

    INODSF1288
Server for this database already active

I then have to delete the databases that won’t start, and recreate them from scratch. I tried restoring them from initial backups, but this didn’t seem to work either.

Any ideas what the problem might be? What does the error mean?

    Thanks,
    Steve
