  • 1.  DatabaseOracle Connection Problem

    Posted 01/05/05 05:32 PM

I try to connect from the SAP BC 4.6 an Oracle-Database 9.2.

The correct driver is already loaded.
But if I try to connect via
Database > Service Generation > Connection Parameters
    I receive the following message:

    ‘Could not connect: 7’

and in the error Log appears the following message:

    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 7

I have no idea, where I can read something about this problem.
    Has anyone an idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    Ralf

    Hello,
Can you please go to the error screen and select the “expand stack trace” check box. Then can you send the related error lines. Can you connect to oracle by any other means? Can you use the SAP adapter in any other form? It is just that you may only have a one sided error.
    Good day.

    I think about this problem.

My last installations I made with Oracle 8.1, but the actual installation is with Oracle 9.2.

Need I for this higher Oracle an other ‘classes12.zip’?

Where can I get this ‘classes12.zip’?

    I found the problem.

My ‘classes12.zip’ was for the wrong Oracle-Version.
Now I use the right version and everything is fine.

    Thanks.
