Is there a way (java API or other) to retrieve the string value for the Database Alias for a configured adapter?

I this particular case, we have multiple Oracle adapters on one broker. Each Oracle adapter is connected to a seperate machine. It would be very handy to be able to determine which adapter a notification came from without doing some kind of ‘hard coding’.
