When I try to stop the event server. Its showing system not responding. Does anyone face this problem? Then I have to restart the machine

Intel 3 GHZ dual processor 4GB RAM.
Windows 2003 Server
Data Stage TX 7.5.1

Ususlly when it comes back 'Not Responding' the event server has closed down. Then all you need to do is restart it from the management console.
In your case there has probably been a GPF which has crashed the event server.

Are these init pending or resource pending or both? If you try to stop the Event Server with resource pending maps, you are killing the maps (and the thread). This can cause the issue you are seeing. It is better to pause the ES and wait until all maps have completed, before stopping.
