IBM Spectrum Protect Plus will backup your data and store it in the cloud. Also, if this runs on a VMware environment it can snapshot the VM and send those to cloud as well.

With SPFS (a file system for Spectrum Protect) you can even mount your Spectrum Protect backup and archive storage directly on your server, and use this mount point to store your backup and archive content on the cloud.

easy to use
everyone knows how to use a file system, right?

we use this to protect KVM, XEN, databases etc..

Eg
# mount -t spfs /backup
# mysqldump > /backup/mysq.bkp

This also enables a way to improve your data protections, as one can use continuous data protection for transactional databases

All content is easilly managed by the Spectrum Protect server
