    I am creating a report in 11.1.4 from a data module I created and am having trouble with the joins when running the report. When I created the data module in Analytics, I specified the join conditions for the tables I used, but when I run the report it is pulling back all the data from the three tables in my module. I am not seeing a way to specify joins in the report.

    What am I missing on creating the report joins?

    Hi Dave

    Joins should only be defined in the Data Module and if you are joining like 3 tables from the same data source, it will also send 1 sql statement back to the data source, with the joins in... So you should check the sql statement in the report to verify it's joining inside the statement and not extracting 3 selects and then join them...
    If it's 3 different data sources you are joining, it needs to extract all 3 and join them at the Cognos server.
