IBM Business Analytics

New post, I am still learning Cognos Analytics Dashboarding. I would like to create a Line chart with cumulative total. So if the overall yearly total is 1000000,
I would like to see how the total increased over the 12 months in the year.
I used to use Report Studio and I used the running total function for list reports but not for charts.
Can someone point me how I can emplement this for charts in Cognos Analytics.
My base data is a dataset.

Hi,
Try making a Data Module . Create a new calculation with running total function. Then make a dashboard . Use this Data Module to create dashboard . I have not tried this personally, but I think, it should work. Give it a try & let me know.
