    There really isn't a maximum size for hd6... it is just a logical volume, so it is constrained by whatever LVM contraints there are on Logical volumes.. as for the largest paging space supported (as this is what hd6 is used for), I know of no known maximum... there are lots of guidelines as to how big your paging space should be and those varying by AIX releases... most recently with AIX 5.2 & 5.3, paging should be large enough to hold the computational portion of memory...
