As I was reading your note, I was thinking, "HIGH"? I think it's HI."
Then I got to the bottom of your note. :)
Thanks for catching this.

Subject: CTABLES /PCOMPUTE: HI vs. HIGH Keyword in EXPR
F
rom the CTABLES , PCOMPUTE documentation:
The following keywords are supported in the expression: LO, THRU, HIGH, MISSING, and OTHERNM. If a range is specified, it must appear in square brackets (for example, &x=EXPR([LO THRU HIGH]) or &x=EXPR([1 THRU 5])).
On my system (Stats V28)
/PCOMPUTE &cat2 = EXPR([1 THRU HIGH])
yields an
"CTables Subcommand PCOMPUTE. Invalid expression for computed category &cat2"
error and no table, while
/PCOMPUTE &cat2 = EXPR([1 THRU HI])
works.
I get by, but I suspect this may be a buglet in the documentation.
