    Hi,

     

    just for the reference of other users of Crypto services. When I initialized Crypto services as described in the Redbook "zPDT Guide and Reference" in

    Chapter 17. Cryptographic usage (Page 293) I also got the ABEND047 that is described in the book:

     

    When we executed or exited from this panel, we received an 047 ABEND. (This was in the
    AD-CD z/OS 1.10S, 1.11, 1.12, and 2.1 systems.) However, the keys appeared to have
    been completed correctly.

     

    When I looked closer at the problem I discovered that an entry for module CSFDPKDS needs not only be added to the AUTHPGM section of IKJTSO00 but also to the AUTHTSF section. Afterwards the settings must be activated using the TSO command "PARMLIB CHECK(00)" followed by "PARMLIB UPDATE(00)".

     

    Afterward I got a clean initialization without the ABEND047.
