  • 1.  Creating Nets in a Custom Tables Multiple Response Set

    Posted Wed July 23, 2025 09:11 AM
I am using Custom Tables for my research.

I have created Multiple Responses sets to be used in my Custom Tables.
I usually sort them in Descending Order (Responses).
But there are a few which I would like to create NETs within the Multiple Response set/

I created a simple table in Custom Tables - Gener in the banner, states in the Multiple Response set.
I need to put the States in different regions - e.g. North, South, East and West. and create Nets for each Region.

But I can't seem to get this working.
    Any advice is welcome.

Hi Julie, sorry but I don't understand how you want the table to look like, not sure about the "NET"? .

Do you have a picture of the table that you want to do (it can be a simple example like a handwritten drawing of the table) - and also important a screen dump of how it looks in your data file?

    Hi there

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I am using Custom Tables for a Multiple Response Set.

This is what I would like to see in the Custom Table. Using only examples.

    TOTAL

    US North (NET)

    New York

    Mass

    Maine

    US SOUTH (NET)

    Florida

    South Carolina

    US WEST (NET)

    Washington

    Oregon

Hi again Julie, and to be able to answer your question I need to know how the raw data file looks like? As it is multiple response it can looks in different ways. Can you take a screen dump of your data file? Also include how  US North (NET), US South (NET) is  coded as it seems to be another variable. /Gunilla
