Was wondering if there was a way to create a database in Tamino without using the GUI? Maybe using JAVA API?

In Tamino development we have automated test scripts so indeed it is possible.

The scripts generally use the argbatch command to create/start/stop/delete databases. You can use the massload facility to populate them.

    Thanks for the response.

Is there any documentation preferably with examples?

As far as I’m aware it is documented.

Googling suggested that it is documented under the System Management Hub.

I would have thought that there are examples.

If you get stuck you could always ask here.
