    Niharika,

    If you are using IS6.0 and above versions then in the Developer tool create a new FlatFile Schema that will show FlatFile Editor there you will find an option under RecordParser for Record character (select option tab)and for Field or Composite (select what ever it is applicable)

    This will create a tab delimited flatfile.
