  • 1.  Creating a Broker Document Type using Designer.

    Posted Mon May 14, 2012 11:46 PM

    Hello There,

I just learned that there was no option of creating a Broker Document Type using designer like the way that we create using developer (File Menu—>New—>Document Type—>—>Broker Document Type)… Does any body aware of how to create a Broker Document Type using designer.

    Thank You,
    Veera.

    Hi Veera,

we can create a Broker Document Type in designer in the similar way that of creating in Developer,
Go to the Package Navigator → in the Menu ->—>New—>Document Type—>

In the Properties Tab → Publication → set Publishable properties as true and save.

At present we are using the Designer version 8.2 .

I hope it answers your query , if any queries reply back.

    Thanks,
    Anand

    Hello Anand,

I am not looking for, how to create a publishable document type. I was looking for, how to create a broker document type (from the existing broker document).

    Thank You,
    Veera

    You cannot do it directly.

Create IS document using Broker document type.
Make changes in this IS document
Sync it with Broker which creates a new Broker document.
