Create WPAR from another system backup?

Let's say I have two hosts. Both are AIX 6.1 TL03. One is a regular everyday non-LPAR single-system production host, the other is a Global for some WPAR test hosts.

Production rootvg is configured "just so" and I would like a WPAR just like it without the hassle of going through my configuration procedure (creating users, installing third-party utilities, etc). Is there any way to "P2WPAR"? In other words, is there any way I can create a WPAR based on a mkdvd backup of my production host?

I have read that in AIX 7 you can create a versioned WPAR from an AIX 5.2 mksysb. Anything similar for normal WPARs under AIX 6?

    Many thanks!

    Markups got me there...

As an alternative, I suppose I could try blindly restoring /etc /home /opt /usr /var from tape backup, but I'm concerned I would accidentally overwrite something WPAR-specific.
