I am using Copy export as a DR solution and have around 60000 tapes in our environment for which we run the Copy export process on a daily basis to ship to offsite. Is it possible to expire the previously created tapes with out reclaim/

Hi Pavan,

I had forwarded your question to the TS7700 development team and they had a few additional questions that may help answer this.  They had asked "When they say "expire" I am assuming they want to keep the actual data that was written to the logical volume but have the logical volume get written to another physical volume, thus removing the logical volume mapping to the copy exported tape. "   Can you verify for us if this is true and if not, can you expand on your question.
