    Hi Apptians!

    We are always looking to improve interactivity and the ability to move and repurpose date from your centralized analytics platform in Apptio BI. To aid with this, Apptio BI now allows you to copy the content in table cells (across rows and columns) using the shortcut keys (Control + C in Windows, Command + C in Mac) to your clipboard.

    The copied content can then be pasted in other programs (e.g Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and any medium you want the data to be migrated into. Read more on our Help Center, here.

    Deep Dive: What can You do with Copied Table Content?

    • You can copy multiple cells
    • The column name is also copied when cells under the column are copied
    • The copied cells are highlighted in blue

    When the copied content is pasted in an Excel file:

    When the copied content is pasted in a Word/PowerPoint file (not in a table):

    When the copied content is pasted in a Word/PowerPoint file (in a pre-defined table):
